About us

Life is too short to eat bad barbeque.  Everyone has had their fair share, and we want to make sure that you never have to eat it again!

How We Started

My name is Jon, I'm the owner and Pitmaster of Smoke Ring BBQ.  It's pretty obvious I have the best job in the world, and I love what I do. I'm passionate about smoking meat and grilling, and before I made it my profession, it was my favorite hobby!

About 11 years ago, I entered a BBQ competition on a whim, and turns out, I won. From then on, I've been dying to open a BBQ restaurant, all the while perfecting my Pitmaster skills. Over the years, I was approached many times by friends and family to do the cooking for their events and parties and it has always worked out really well and it's been a pleasure of mine. So, I decided to expand into the public eye and offer my services to people other than just friends and family.

What We Do

Plain and simple...we smoke and grill.  We offer some specialized extras, but we are not a full caterer. Our services are meant to get you the best BBQ entrees and free up your time so you don't have to spend your whole party in front of the grill.

"I'll run the pit so you can enjoy your party!"

How We Do It

Everything is prepared and either smoked or grilled at our location. At the time of order, you give us a time for delivery or pick-up, and we'll have your order ready for you, hot and ready to be served.

We run 2 smokers with the capacity for close to 150 pounds of meat at one time. We guarantee if you order smoked meat, our smoker is fired up in the wee hours of the morning, way before the sun comes up. To acheive the perfect doneness, our meats are cooked slow and low.  It's a timely process, but we love it and we know you will too.
